OUR NEW MINISTRY: You've Gotta Have Friends
United Churches of Langley and Inclusion Langley recognize that it is sometimes hard to find a community in this busy and disconnected world. That is why we are very excited we are restarting You’ve Gotta Have Friends drop-in program - an old community-building group made new. We will welcome people, listen to their stories and provide opportunities for them to meet others and find out they are not alone!
Our drop-in space is in Langley City, at #1 – 20179 56th Ave. Beginning October 1, 2024, we will be welcoming anyone and everyone according to this schedule:
- Tuesdays 5-8pm
- Saturdays 1-4pm
- Friday evenings for special events as scheduled and advertised.
We are currently looking for volunteers to co-host the Friday and Saturday sessions. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Gillian McLeod, the Social Justice and Outreach Program Facilitator of United Churches of Langley, at socialjustice@ucol.ca or 604-530-2929, ext. 207.
