WELCOME to UCoL!
We are a congregation of The United Church of Canada,
Weaving a Faith that Matters… may the Spirit stir us on!
We acknowledge with gratitude that we live and gather on the unceded and ancestral lands of the Máthxwi (Matsqui), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), and Se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) peoples. We honour their faithful stewardship of the land and seek to walk in the Spirit of reconciliation.

Today is part of the Thanksgiving weekend, a time for many of us to gather with family or friends, to eat traditional foods, to offer thanks to God for the many blessings in our life. Our readings remind us that giving thanks could be part of the daily routine, that attention to our blessings can balance out our concerns, bring us the richness of life, rather than the scarcity.
