United Churches of Langley has become known as a place of welcome for families of all types - families with two parents - moms & dad, two moms or two dads, single-family parents, parents with LGBQT2+ kids, and extended families living and learning together.
We have been designated as a Safe Space by the RCMP - a place where anyone can come in, and find a place of welcome and a telephone to call for help if they are feeling unsafe on the streets of Langley due to their gender and sexual identity and expression.
We are committed to providing programs and ministry for people of all ages. Worship is a multi-generational experience where elders and babes come together to sing, pray, and play together in worshiping God.
United Churches of Langley is a regional church with two locations:
Our Sunday morning worship service is taking place in the Main Sanctuary at our Murrayville site at 10:30am. This service is livestreamed on our YouTube Channel, and a group of congregants gather at our Fort Langley site to watch it together. Click on the links on our Homepage to access our weekly worship. You can also access our past services from the "If you missed..." section on the home page.
Our worship services last about an hour.
We have reserved accessible parking spots for people who use mobility devices near the main entrance at both locations. At the Murrayville site, there are several additional accessible parking spots at the church parking lot across the street.
We have greeters and ushers available from the minute you enter the building to assist and guide you. If you’re not sure where to go, just ask one of them.
The dress code on Sundays runs from jeans to suits. Come as you are.
The best place to start is by viewing our Ministries and Events sections of the website. You will find many small groups and ministries you can join: meditation, art, yoga, social groups, men's and women's groups, study groups, youth groups, outreach projects, etc. These groups provide opportunities to get to know other people better, grow in your spiritual journey, share in each other’s lives and actively support the wider community.
We at United Churches of Langley welcome and include everyone. We are a progressive Christian community made up of people of all ages who believe in a God who loves diversity. So, we do our best to welcome diversity, believing that everyone is necessary.
