After the BC Covid update on February 15, 2022, when authorities lifted some of the pandemic restrictions, the UCoL Church Board decided to resume in-person worship and church gatherings and activities on Sunday, March 6.
After March 10 and April 8, 2022, BC further relaxed the pandemic restrictions and the UCoL Board revised our Covid prevention protocols. Our goal is to make it possible for church and community groups to gather in person safely, while the Covid is still present in our wider community. Our Communicable Disease Prevention Plan now includes these requirements:
No persons experiencing any Covid-like symptoms are allowed to enter the church buildings.
Mask wearing in all parts of the building for all people 12 years and older is strongly encouraged.
We strongly recommend that all church building users be fully vaccinated.
Continue to practice physical distancing
We don't need to limit the room capacity anymore, and socializing over snacks and coffee is now allowed.
The church and community user groups can resume their gatherings, taking precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
Please call or email the church office if you have any inquiries or concerns or to arrange an appointment.
