Fort Langley Cèilidh

We're excited and proud to begin the 18th Season of our Fort Langley Cèilidh with the event on September 17, 2026!

Fort Langley Cèilidh (pronounced Kay-lee), a live music event, is an outreach and community-building ministry held at our Fort Langley site once a month from September through June. These enjoyable evenings of music and community connection have regularly filled the church hall for the past 17 years, with the exception of the two years affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Cèilidhs provide wonderful opportunities for lovers of traditional music, friends, and members of the community to come together and enjoy songs, fun, and refreshments!

Our enthusiastic Cèilidh volunteers include United Churches of Langley (UCoL) members and friends from the wider community. The new leadership team, beginning this fall, includes Suzanne Kendall, Event Coordinator, and Sue Leyland, our new MC. Both have been involved with the Fort Langley Cèilidh for many years: Suzanne as a volunteer and enthusiastic supporter, along with her husband, Ernie; and Sue as a musician and volunteer.

Both audience members and performers come from far and wide. All of our talented performers volunteer their time and appreciate both the venue and its receptive, enthusiastic audiences.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door.

Funds raised through our Cèilidhs help maintain UCoL's historic St. Andrew's Chapel at 9025 Glover Road in Fort Langley.
