Art Break, at our Fort Langley location, happens every Friday throughout the year except for Good Friday (resumed gathering in person in the Fall of 2021). It runs as a drop-in from 9 am to 12 noon and is open to everyone who wishes to claim these three hours in their busy week for creative visual exploration (no instruction, just fun).
In a relaxed atmosphere, most individuals sketch and paint the ‘still life display’ in a medium of their choice, while others work on their ongoing pieces. Participants bring their own supplies, and we provide encouragement and share our knowledge.
We have a variety of people (12+) attending. Some participants are new to the community or recently retired, and they have found a great supportive group of people with like interests.
This program is a friendly, energy-packed, enjoyable time for all participants.
