We have journeyed with various images of Jesus for the first 3 weeks of Lent: Jesus as True Vine, Jesus as Living Water, Jesus as the Truth, the Way, the Life. This week we meet Jesus as Shepherd. What does it feel like to know you have a comforting presence that keeps you safe and who will come to find you when you are lost? This image of Jesus helps us open up to the ever-present nature of God that is always with us, guiding our way home, home in the heart of God.
