After remembering and honouring those who have been involved in wars and conflicts over the years, we turn to thoughts of peace. In 1570, Baruch Spinoza wrote, "peace is not an absence of war, it is a virtue, a state of mind, a disposition for benevolence." Today we will think about God's vision of peace and how we tip the balance of world conflict in favour of harmony.
