Sometimes, we forget that we are a part of a long tradition and have many strong spirits to draw from. Might we call on this great cloud of witnesses so that we might join hearts to connect as one?
Jesus was not always as gentle as we may like to think. Luke’s gospel tells of Jesus sharing that he had come to divide families by faith. There was often talk amongst early Christ followers and from the mouth of Christ himself that we may well need to leave our families in order to follow him.
Where might we draw nearer to one another, and where is it better to have space between us and our roots? Must we give up connections to our relatives in order to truly connect in faith and spirit? We consider...
