Jesus is at the beginning of his ministry in the Gospel of Mark. Today he is in the synagogue, interrupted by a man with “an unclean spirit.” How do we react to the invasion of demons, destructive forces, into our lives and our world? We cannot deny them, but we can meet them, dialogue with them, and increase our understanding and our faith. This is a challenge and also a blessing as we continue our discipleship.
