Peace is hard work! In a world filled with violence, anger, and the selfish use of power, God calls us to imagine other possibilities, to work towards justice, and to continue to enlarge the circle of friendship and human decency that reflects the blessings of the Kingdom in our daily lives.
Today we renew our commitment to those who worked for peace in past times, and, with God’s help, envision our role in the world in which we live.
