We come together this Sunday to welcome each other home and root ourselves back in community life. Rev. Sophia has traveled through Scotland and France, exploring vibrant and declining churches and ministries, and has returned home to United Churches of Langley. Many of us have also traveled near and far, and we too return “home” to our beloved community.

Let’s listen for how trees can show us the way to root down, seek light, strengthen our inner core, and branch out in ministry that is thriving, alive in Christ, vital to the community, and sustainable into the future. Let’s see how we can be rooted and grounded in Love as we journey together to glean the insights from the Community of Faith process and Sophia’s explorations.
