As many of us know, The United Church of Canada is 100 years old this year! It was on June 10, 1925, that the leaders of Canada’s Presbyterian, Methodist, Congregational, and Local Union Church denominations marched together into Toronto’s Mural Street Arena to inaugurate the new denomination that would be the successor to and union of their respective traditions.
On the evening of that church union anniversary day, June 10, the people of the West Fraser United Church congregations in North Delta, Surrey, and Langley invite all congregants, especially former Presbytery reps, from throughout the Fraser Valley to gather at United Churches of Langley to share in fellowship and to watch together one of the two national Centennial worship services being prepared for the Church Union weekend.
Join us for this fun time of friendship, fellowship, and worship together with our United Church family in this area!
UCoL Members - We are in need of a few UCoL members (former presbytery reps?) to help set-up hospitality and host this important festive occasion. Please email Sophia if you are able to help!
