Today is Trinity Sunday, and the traditional practice has been to wrestle with God as “Father, Son and Holy Spirit.” Wrestle is a good word to use, because the trinity is a mystery, when we may want a one-size-fits-all answer; a boxed - in definition. Whom do we worship, how do we worship, is it OK if?????
The scripture readings celebrate the fullness of God, and our relationship to the holy. In a world of confusion and conflict, let’s combine tradition, awe, gratitude, humility and responsibility as we enter the Season of Pentecost with open minds and joyful hearts.
