Many of us began to bake bread during the early pandemic, some learning and cultivating their own mother, or starter, for sourdough. Others already had this skill and have passed down starters for generations through families, communities, or friends.
Jesus is the life, and the start of our holy connection to bread. How does our relationship to Jesus cultivate life rising in our dough, and in our very souls? This week we remember Jesus as our rock, our refuge, and at the center of each day. May we cultivate life in Jesus this day and always. Amen.
