We are a congregation of The United Church of Canada,
Weaving a Faith that Matters… may the Spirit stir us on!
We acknowledge with gratitude that we live and gather on the unceded and ancestral lands of the q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), Máthxwi (Matsqui), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), and Se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) peoples. We honour their faithful stewardship of the land and seek to walk in the Spirit of reconciliation.
On the Sunday closest to November 1, we celebrate All Saints Day to honour the memory of those who have died. Early in the service, we will be placing photos of loved ones on the tables at the front of the church. If you didn't bring a photo, there will be an opportunity to simply speak the person's name aloud.
This Sunday, we also celebrate the sacrament of Communion, which unites us around a table with our community in this place of worship and across the ages with those who have gone before.
