WELCOME to UCoL!

We are a congregation of The United Church of Canada,
Weaving a Faith that Matters… may the Spirit stir us on!

We acknowledge with gratitude that we live and gather on the unceded and ancestral lands of the q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), Máthxwi (Matsqui), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), and Se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) peoples. We honour their faithful stewardship of the land and seek to walk in the Spirit of reconciliation.

Worship Leader: Rev. Louise Cummings
Location: Murrayville - 21562 Old Yale Road
Time: 10:30am

John the Baptist is not the first person to come to mind on a Sunday that speaks of God's gift of peace. Famously, he called people a "brood of vipers", warned of the "wrath to come", and was beheaded for speaking truth to Herod. Not someone you want to invite for Christmas dinner. What was so attractive about his message, that throngs of people came from all around to listen to him?
